Obama's Acceptance Speech

... I'm not sure what to say to all that... the man is an oratorical genius... up there with Clinton, Kennedy, FDR, and Lincoln...

Never before have I cried just a little at the power and emotion of a politician's words... He got me on the patriotic, "we rise and fall as a nation, as a people" and his "yes, we can" of the last 100 years... I'm a patriot, I think this is a pretty wicked country, and definitely believe we can once again be respected and liked as we once were across the world... and this is the man to get us there. Because he asks us to join him. To come together and help him, ourselves, and each other make this a better country and a better world. A call that we haven't heard as a people in a long, long, long time. It's something I feel we needed as a country and a people.

Thank you, America. Thank you for taking the chance on Hope and Optimism and not fallin back on fear and the "way things are done"

It feels pretty good. The end of a horrible era, the weight and pain and fear has lifted and it's nothing but sunny days ahead....

In three months... ;)

If you couldn't tell, I'm pretty happy at the moment.

M, out. :D

YAY! I'm so happy that Obama won, even though I'm not an American. :) I've got a really good feeling about him as President.
